The history of the Christian Church has been marked by successive periods of renewal. During once such period in England, God inspired a young Church of England priest with a vision of His grace extended to all humankind. Rev. John Wesley founded a spiritual renewal movement that leaped boundaries of class and geographical limitations as it reached the New World. In October of 1908, the Church of the Nazarene was established as the result of this dynamic, life-changing message. As we gather in worship today we are part of a family that consists of 18,000 churches, 1.6 million Nazarenes that spans 24 times zones.
